Margarita runs a B&B, in the middle of the green heart of Slovenia with freedom and space. Do you also want to spend the night with us and then start your adventure in the morning after a delicious breakfast with homemade products or relax after your trip and let all your experiences sink in at your leisure, exchange stories and don’t bother with stress to be on time at the flight field or train station.

When you will visit Slovenia, you have to explore the Triglav National Park .It is one of the most scenic places in the World.

Triglav national park is located in north-west slovenia, at the border with italiy and austria, an and a half hours drive from our location B&B MARGARITA.

we still offer possibilities for an unforgettable and insanely fun holiday. Go camp 2 is a warm and cozy house on wheels for a family of 4! Do you like camping and the outdoors? Do you want to discover Slovenia, do you like freedom and adventure? Not planning your entire trip in advance, but having the space to adjust your route on the spot. Or just sleep in your ‘own’ bed every night and be one with nature. The children on their own adventure and sleeping in a tent is an extra possibility! In Slovenia, traveling with a camper with camping equipment is ideal. You always have your own house with you and can go and stand where you want.

Or come and stay with us in the B&B and combine this trip with renting a camper from our location! It is wonderful to enjoy here, silence, peace, beautiful nature. Rent our electric mountain bikes and discover even more nice places on back roads!

    Triglav National Park

    Triglav National Park is Slovenia’s only national park and a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers.The Julian Alps are surrounding the valley, filled with turquoise waters of Soča river. It is a place perfect for many outdoor adventures like Bungee jumping, water kayak, rafting, canyoning, hiking, cycling and much more.

    Triglav National Park is a wonderful place for hiking and cycling. The park is located in Slovenia and has more than 10,000 kilometers of hiking trails1. You can also climb the highest mountain in Slovenia, Mount Triglav, which is 2864 meters high2. In addition to hiking and cycling, you can also kayak in the valleys and valleys. The park offers a diverse landscape of mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and alpine meadows, with rich flora and fauna.

    The karst region

    The karst plateau or the karst is the region extending the border of south west ern slovenia and northeastern Italy.. The most importand cities are Ajdovscina and Vipava.

    It lies between the vipava valley, the low hills surrounding the valley, the western part of the Brkni Hills , Istria and the Gulf of Trieste.

    A visit to the karst valley, formed by the sinking and collapsing of a cave ceiling, it is woth it !

    The naturel window

    This hike, starting from the Pale Sports Park past the source of the Hubelj River above Ajdovščina, and to the natural beauty of the Otlica Natural Window (Otliško okno), will take you on a tour of some of the best views of the Vipava Valley, the Karst Plateau, and the Adriatic Sea. The well-marked trail, which winds its way along some very navigable terrain, is a great choice for a family trip.

    Natural elements seamlessly interwoven with manmade ones, the result of man’s work and nature’s creativity has created a pearl of medieval resourcefulness.  It is so special and unique, it ranks among the ten most fascinating castles in the world, and so romantic that many couples choose it for their wedding vows.

    Under the castle, the Karst world formed the Cave under Predjama Castle, which spans four floors and is the second longest Slovenian cave. A section of the cave can be seen as part of the castle tour, while the rest is visited as part of adventure tours.

    The skockjan caves

    The Škocjan Caves Park is located in the far south-east of the traditional Karst, near the town of Divača. The Škocjan Caves system is a broad network of underground caves, passages, collapse dolines, natural bridges and swallow holes. It was created by the Reka River which, after flowing for 50 km on the surface, disappears in this location into the karst underground and reappears in water sources near the Gulf of Trieste. Its underground gorge of extraordinary dimensions is the most familiar part of the Škocjan Caves.

    Taking a break in the shades of century-old oak trees, enjoying the view of the splendid Big Natural Bridge (Veliki naravni most), travelling back in time at the ruins of the church of St. Cantianus, breathing in the fresh cave air under the slender arch of the Little Natural Bridge (Mali naravni most), or strolling along the soft and maintained trail by the tall-grown firs is an unforgettable experience over and over again…

    On an afternoon walk, one can observe millions of years of geological processes which shaped this little karst valley. Therefore, it is not at all surprising that it was nominated to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

    The Rakov Škocjan valley is a karst valley at the northern base of the Javorniki hills which was created when the ceiling of a karst cave began sinking and collapsing. This is proven by the 42-meter Little Natural Bridge, the 37-meter Big Natural Bridge and two gorges behind them.

    At the flat clayey bottom meanders the Rak stream, surrounded by cleared woodlands and flood meadows. The Rak is fed by underground waters discharging from the Cerknica plain and from beneath the Javorniki hills. This small river surfaces from the Zelške jame caves in the eastern part of the valley and disappears in the Tkalca jama cave in the west.
