Hello everyone,

We are Gertjan and Marlies and our friendly dog , Mika

In 2016, we embarked on a jouurney and traveled throughout slovenia.The natural wonders, warm and friendly people, and serene atmosphere captivated us, and we knew that we had to return to uncover more of Slovenia’s hidden treasures.

This village counts 319 citzens and is part of the slovenian municipality Ajdovscina in the region Goriska .

We fell in love with a house in the middle of this green treasure of europe.

The house is situated on a parcel of land that has countless possibilities. We renovaded this house and start a B&B at home for 2 adults and 2 children .Given the name “MARGARITA ” .

We have a lot of tourist but in all the years we thinking about a lot of other skills. 

We love the mountains ,the people ,  and we are impressed of the beautifull green nature . we would like to share this with people, the peace and silence.

“Our starting point is to create an environment for travelers and tourists where ecological connectedness to the environment, peace, and quiet are central. I am creative in mind, an artist with painting, and I work with flowers from my garden. In my garden, I only use eco-friendly materials, and I am very interested in the herbs and wildflowers here in the mountains. I want to share this passion with my guests, and in the future, I plan to organize excursions for flowers, herbs, beautiful nature, and butterflies.

Additionally, I want to offer workshops in painting for locals and tourists. I love cooking and have served dinner many times for the guests at the B&B. We offer many creative activities in which guests can participate in the outdoors and abundance of nature!

We want to make a lasting impression on our guests and provide them with a memorable experience while connecting them to the natural world.”
